Pacific Coastal Airlines increases their non-stop service to Victoria
Prince George, BC – Pacific Coastal Airlines is expanding its non-stop service between Prince George and Victoria, with twice-daily weekday flights starting January 18. The new flight times will make it easier for both business and leisure travelers to travel between the two cities.
“Victoria has been a great route for us”, says Pacific Coastal’s northern Business Development Manager, Susan Clarke. “We offer the only non-stop service, and travelers really appreciate our passenger-friendly policies and 50-pound free baggage allowance. Expanding from one to two flights on weekdays will allow us to better meet the needs of Prince George market.”
Beginning January 18, 2016, Pacific Coastal’s direct flights to Victoria will depart at 12:30pm and 6:35pm on weekdays, and Sundays at 3:30pm. The new flights are already bookable on www.pacificcoastal.com or through travel agents.
President and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority John Gibson says, “We are pleased to see Pacific Coastal expanding their services. This additional flight makes accessing the Island even more convenient. A huge thank you to the community for supporting the new service thus far; the only way to get increased service and destinations is to use what we currently have and this is an excellent example of what community support can do.”
Pacific Coastal began flying non-stop between Prince George and Victoria on January 12, 2015 and this expansion of services comes one year into their Prince George operations. The flying time to Victoria is just 100 minutes in Pacific Coastal Airlines’ Saab 340A and Saab 340B aircraft.
