WestJet Non-Stop Service: Prince George to Las Vegas
WestJet announces service from Prince George to Las Vegas starting September 10 through November 26, 2011. “This is definitely new for us,” commented John MacLeod, WestJet Vice-President, Network Management and Alliances. “As we prepared for the annual fall transition of our fleet we had a window of additional flying time over an 11-week period. There is certainly demand for Las Vegas from Prince George and while we were not able to fit it in our winter schedule this year we are taking the opportunity to test the feasibility of this service. Based on the demand we see, we will determine if this route is a viable option to consider as our fleet grows.”
John Gibson, President and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority, said “ it is a great opportunity to show Northern B.C.’s support for this destination. It is our most requested destination for non-stop service.”
